AGA—Supporting Education, Research, and Integrity in the Gemological Community

Gemological Education, Research & Ethics Support

2017 Gifts

Kathryn Bonanno Patrizzi - $1,000

As an AGA Patron, your name will be added to our growing list of gemologists and jewelry industry professionals invested in the future of Gemology.

Accredited Gemologists Association has a rich history of connecting practicing gemologists with research scientists, miners, dealers, and retail jewelers in ways that benefit the entire gem and jewelry field. Each year an exceptional member of the gemological community is awarded the Antonio C. Bonanno Award for Excellence in Gemology. Your patronage supports the core tenets of the award; Research, Knowledge, Education, and Integrity.

Through timely and important presentations in Tucson and Las Vegas AGA conferences provide a platform to share the latest in gemological research findings, new gemstone discoveries, cutting edge technologies, and gemological issues with all facets of the jewelry world. AGA conferences serve as a forum, connecting multiple voices in the gem and jewelry network leading to positive and constructive action.

Through its work with GIA, JA groups, and the Federal Trade Commission, AGA connects consumers to the gemological network in an effort to ensure the public trust. AGA members publish articles in national consumer and trade publications and serve as experts for TV and radio programs raising awareness and helping consumers guard against becoming a victim.

AGA has positioned itself as a bridge, connecting the industry to future gemologists through creation of the AGA Gemological Scholarship program and to the Gemological Scientific community through the AGA Gemological Research Grant program.

Make an investment in the future of gemology and join AGA in connecting all facets of the gemological network by becoming an AGA Patron today.

As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, your donation may be tax deductible. Check with your tax professional.
