Gemological Education, Research & Ethics Support

AGA - Supporting Education, Research, and Integrity in the Gemological Community

Accredited Gemologists Association has a rich history of connecting practicing gemologists with cutting edge gemological science, new gem finds, and issues facing the industry through timely and important presentations at conferences in Tucson and Las Vegas. For over 30 years AGA has worked to connect consumers with the gemological network and to ensure the public trust by working closely with the Federal Trade Commission during revision of Gems and Jewelry trade practice guidelines. AGA members have published many articles in national consumer and trade publications and have been featured in consumer-oriented TV segments focused on alerting the public to fraudulent products or practices within the marketplace. AGA has positioned itself as a bridge, connecting the Gem and Jewelry industry to future gemologists through creation of the AGA Gemological Scholarship program and to the Gemological Scientific community through the AGA Gemological Research Grant program.

AGA Conference Sponsors enjoy the benefits of association with the world's leading independent organization of gemological professionals. Our membership is comprised of gemologists, jewelers, dealers, appraisers, gemological research scientists, and many other associated professionals. AGA Sponsorship is an excellent way to give back or to pay it forward by supporting the continuing education of practicing gemologists and encouraging young men and women to consider gemology as a career path. As an AGA Conference Sponsor, your company will take pride in the knowledge that your donation supports research grants, scholarships, and cutting edge conference presentations while boosting your company's visibility through AGA pre-conference marketing.

Each year an exceptional member of the gemological community is awarded the Antonio C. Bonanno Award for Excellence in Gemology during the Tucson conference and gala. As an AGA conference sponsor, participation in conferences and the Tucson gala provides you with the opportunity to showcase your services and cultivate new customers while connecting with the movers and shakers in the world of gemology.

Your contribution also supports AGA's commitment to maintaining consumer confidence by publicly addressing controversial issues such as Lead Glass Composite Manufactured Rubies and Fluorescence in Diamonds.

AGA Conference Sponsorship opportunities are available at four levels: Diamond ($10,000.00), Sapphire ($5000.00), Ruby ($2500.00), and Emerald ($1,000.00). Each AGA Conference Sponsorship package is tailored to meet the sponsor's needs. Diamond Conference Sponsorships provides the highest level of visibility for companies looking to maximize their exposure and promotional opportunities. Sapphire and Ruby Conference Sponsorships are perfect for companies looking for a unique marketing opportunity at a great value. Emerald Sponsorship provides companies with an effortless and cost-effective vehicle to reach attendees.
